Griffith  is the first on our top best Anime Betrayal super pick. After Griffith’s dreams are shattered by a king who loves his daughter in a way that … well … no one could have expected, Griffith is left to rot in the deepest, darkest dungeon. When his loyal band, led by Casca) and Guts risk everything to save him, Griffith finally gets the chance to fulfill his destiny. However, offers from a demon don’t come cheap, and Griffith agrees to sacrifice his lifelong friends and companions to transform himself into a demon king. Probably most tragically, the band, oblivious to what’s really happening, are still trying to protect Griffith even though they get torn apart. Oh and this is how the anime ENDS.

#2. Satsuki betrays Ragyo “Kill la Kill” (2014)

Next on our Anime Betrayal best list is Satsuki betrays Ragyo “Kill la Kill” (2011) .At the beginning of the series, we’re pretty sure that Satsuki – sorry, Lady Satsuki – is the main villain, not only because of Ryuko’s assumptions, but also because she’s turned the “resting bitch” into a way of life. . As the series progresses, we finally meet the real opponent: Satsuki’s mother, Ragyo. There’s plenty of reason to despise her, but for the sake of this list, we’ll point out how she’s enjoyed molesting her own daughter for years. Ah, we’ve never been more satisfied with a literal trunk.

#3. Anthy) stabs Utena in the back – literally  – Revolutionary Girl Utena (1998)

Anime Betrayal top list also features Anthy) stabs Utena in the back – literally. Utena wants to become a prince. Anthy is treated like a tool – even by her own brother. Together these two young women form a bond that goes beyond the connection between a prince and his princess. It’s not just a matter of friendship, it’s about Utena being the only one who ever treated Anthy like a living, breathing person. And after we finally feel like Anthy has made some progress … she stabs Utena, the only person who cares about her. Literally.

#4. Do not sign Kyubey’s contract – Madoka Magica (2012)

Still on the top best Anime Betrayals best list Do not sign Kyubey‘s contract. isn’t Kyubey the cutest? And he will fulfill any wish you want . as long as you sign his contract and become a magical girl. Who wouldn’t want to be a magical girl? Who doesn’t want their wish granted? U.S. We and everyone who has seen this series. Kyubey is a sadistic, insensitive creature who tortures these girls as they roll around like a cat and eat his own remains. Worst of all, he technically gave everyone what they wanted.

#5. Aizen betrays The Soul Society “Bleach” (2006-12)

Never. Ever. Trust the silent. Especially if they wear silent glasses. A once-revered captain, no one expected the big turn in his character, not just because of that kind smile, but because he was kind of, well … murdered. His lieutenant, Momo, was overjoyed to see he was still alive … to be stabbed by him and left for dead. At least after his malicious revelation, he dropped the glasses and trusting appearance while talking about plans to “be on top of the world.”

#6. Arashi verraadt de draken van de hemel “X / 1999” (2002-03)

It’s hard to change your destiny, but damn it, Arashi is trying right. Sorata, the lovable hero that he is, says it is his destiny to die for the woman he loves. Arashi ignores him at first, but the two eventually grow closer. Later, Sorata is seriously injured, but keeps the smile on his face as Arashi is okay. This confirms Arashi’s decision to leave the group and join the other party, because if she’s a villain, Sorata has no reason to die for her, right?

#7. Annie Leonhart is the female titan “Attack on Titan” (2013-)

Surely you can handle a few more WTF moments in this anime, right? in Anime Betrayal, the female titan increased the intensity in a series that, let’s face it, already puts us on edge with every episode. After watching her brutally kill quite a few characters, including Levi’s team, and defeating Eren’s titan form, she’s finally defeated. While there are clues pointing to her identity and the others praying that they are wrong, it is still shocking to see Annie’s face as she cuts and transforms her wrist.

#8.  A whole series based on betrayal “Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo” (2005)

Alexandre Dumas’ classic novel is known as the ultimate story of revenge. The anime adaptation adds a lively, sci-fi flair while keeping all the brutal backwinds in tact. You want the count to win. He was imprisoned for false charges while the love of his life unwittingly married one of the men who betrayed him. So yeah, we’re rooting for him … and feeling guilty for cheering so loudly. We are torn between wanting these people to suffer and feeling bad for what they, and their families, are going through.

#9.  Archer wants to kill himself? “Fate / Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works” (2014-15)

Archer as one of the Anime Betrayal best list on like most characters from an alternate timeline want to change the course of history. Archer is no exception, but his methods and motivations are a bit of a doozy. He leaves his master, Rin, because he thinks Caster has a better chance of winning the Holy Grail War. Then he kills her. Don’t gasp just yet, that’s not the most shocking part. Wait for it … Archer wants to kill the protagonist Shirou, because … Sagittarius IS Shirou Archer, for want of better words, wants to commit suicide.

#10.  Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune join Sailor Galaxy Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: Sailor Stars     (1996-1997)

Talk about upping the ante for a series finale. Sailor Uranus and Neptune joining the rogue state of Galaxy is bad enough, but to watch them kill the scouts who weren’t killed AND Pluto and Saturn is heartbreaking not only because they are allies, but because they are practically adopting Saturn. his parents. The betrayal was an unsuccessful attempt to overrun Galaxy and inevitably results in the two “traitors” being killed. Can we go back to the simple days of Sailor Moon crying away her villains now?

Here are some few honorable mentioned on our top best list:
Itachi kills his own clan
“Naruto” (2005-09)
Villetta Now shoots her lover
Code Geass: Lelouch Of The Rebellion (2008-09)
Grell betrays Madame Red
“Black Butler” (2010)
Yui hates Miaka
“Fushigi Yuugi” (1995)
Rossiu overthrows Simon
“Gurren Lagaan” (2008).
